[S2E3] The Grand Surrender VERIFIED

Arya Stark struggles with insomnia and takes advice from Yoren about coping with her painful memories. He tells her to focus on retribution. They are interrupted by the arrival of Ser Amory Lorch with a force of Lannister men and Gold Cloaks. Yoren marshals the recruits for a battle. He confronts Ser Amory and refuses to comply with his demands that he surrender the royal bastard Gendry. Yoren dies fighting bravely but his recruits are overcome. During the fight Arya rescues Jaqen H'ghar from a fire near the prisoner wagon. Lommy Greenhands picks up Gendry's helmet and is wounded by a crossbow bolt. Arya is incapacitated by Polliver who takes Needle from her. Gendry and Hot Pie are also captured. Lommy begs Polliver to carry him but Polliver stabs him in the throat with Needle instead. Arya convinces her captors that Lommy was Gendry because he was carrying the helmet. Ser Amory orders the prisoners be taken to Harrenhal.

[S2E3] The Grand Surrender

Upon the Avatar's return in 99 AG, the Fire Nation undertook a far more aggressive plan of attack, taking bigger risks to deliver devastating blows to their opposition and render any possible intervention from Avatar Aang too late. This strategy resulted in colossal setbacks for the Fire Nation when the Avatar became involved. Notably, the Fire Nation launched a massive invasion of the North Pole, after they realized that Aang was taking refuge there, and suffered a crushing defeat at the last second when the Ocean Spirit and Avatar merged to intervene. Similarly, an effort to breach the walls of Ba Sing Se utilizing a giant drill was also thwarted. Despite these setbacks, several victories were also won, including the surrender of Omashu and the infiltration and Fall of Ba Sing Se, leaving the Northern Water Tribe as the last remaining stronghold to Fire Nation global hegemony. In an effort to turn the tide of the war, an army assembled from the remnants of the Southern Water Tribe and members of the Foggy Swamp Tribe and Earth Kingdom attempted an invasion of the Fire Nation Capital on the Day of Black Sun in mid 100 AG, when firebenders were powerless and as such incapable of defending against a siege. The invasion ultimately failed, with nearly all members of the invasion force captured or killed by the Fire Nation.

Jimmy Hurdstram is a main character on Yellowstone. He is a professional thief and drug cook who becomes a ranch hand at Yellowstone Ranch. His grandfather, Dirk Hurdstram, approached John Dutton to ask him to take Jimmy on as a favour.

Jimmy was always getting into trouble. He used to cook meth for 2 drug dealers, Ray and Blake. Somewhere along the way, he wound up owing Ray 8 grand. His grandfather reached out to the Duttons to hire him on and keep him out of trouble.

As fate would have it, Cody is wedged between a rock and a hard place when he holds Governor Tawni Ames at gunpoint on Desix, eager for a peaceful solution after she didn't want to cede territory to the Empire and kidnapped Palpatine's Governor Grotton in retaliation. Cody lays down arms, hoping for a diplomatic route, with Tawni confessing that Separatists like her banded together and offered treaties to Palpatine and the Republic in the past. However, they were ignored, which means the Republic never wanted peace. Cody is stunned to hear this, especially as Tawni admits Count Dooku predicted this tyranny.
