Alfred & Joyce Washington

Alfred & Joyce Washington have been married over 34 years.  They were blessed with 8 children, 3 of which are deceased.  They currently have 17 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.  One great grandchild is deceased. They have lived in Las Vegas for 17 yrs.

They have been members of Calvary Southern Baptist Church for over 13 years, now under the leadership of Ron Winston, Sr. Pastor.  Alfred is the director and Joyce is co-director of the Marriage & Family Ministry at Calvary Southern Baptist Church.

​

Alfred graduated from Los Angeles Bible Training School, and from BIOLA University with a Masters in (MFC) Marriage and Family Counseling.  He is a member of the Christian Association for Psychological Studies.

​

Joyce graduated from Los Angeles Trade Technical College with an AA in Liberal Arts, and from BIOLA University with a BS in Organization Leadership.

Alfred and Joyce are authors of “Why Are We So Angry?”

The purpose of (GDC) Genesis 2:24 Dunamis Center is to provide practical steps in husbands and wives becoming one, and to minister the Spirit of Christian love and fairness with biblically sound doctrine through counseling, instruction, and guidance.
