Genesis 2:24 Dunamis Center (GDC) also has a vision to focus on Substance Abuse, and Mental/ Behavioral Health.  With the widespread of the Pandemic epidemic, Mental/Behavioral Health, Substance Abuse, and a high rate of suicide is more prevalent in our community than ever before.

There is an enormous need for counseling in our Church, our community, our country and throughout our world.

I obtained a Licensed Alcohol Drug Certification, twenty-five years ago, where I have worked as a Licensed Counselor, I’ve worked at a Methadone clinic, with Inmates, Youth, as an Inpatient, Outpatient, Psychiatric, Professional, and with Pregnant women who had kids.

I have a bachelor’s degree (in Criminal Justice/ Juvenile Justice, and one of my biggest professional accomplishments was obtaining my master’s degree (12/2011) in Behavior Health/Counseling Services.  With this Degree, I can counsel individuals with Mental Health issues.  I have worked with Medicaid and Medicare Clients, doing Psychosocial Rehabilitation Services; Which consists of; guiding the client to make appropriate decisions concerning their mental/behavioral Health, living situations, State Benefits, Parenting, Substance Abuse, Doctor’s appointment, Communication Skills, School issues with Teachers, if need be, and anything else that will help them to have a smooth transition, so that they will be able take care of themselves, and become a productive Citizens in this society.

One thing that I will note is I love working with Children and Youth.

In 2011, after receiving my master’s degree, my husband and I was asked to join the Marriage and Family Ministry at our place of Worship.  We worked alongside our Christian Sisters and brothers doing Ministry work at the Church, where we attended.  working alongside our brothers and sisters in Christ doing Ministry work, I have participated in and lead many workshops that were open to all Church Members, as well as the community.  Some of the workshops included (Drug and Alcohol Abuse, Mental Health and Behavioral Health Issues, Co-Parenting, Sex-Trafficking, Suicide Prevention, Parenting Skills, Marriage Retreats, knowing your Partners Love Language, Christian Marriages, preparing for Marriage, Grief Share workshop, Symptoms of Grief and many, many more).

Beverley H. Bradshaw

What God joins together "in love" cannot be separated by circumstance.

•Robert and Beverly met in passing, (1996) at Calvary Southern Baptist Church.

•They would run into each other every Sunday and at various activities at Church. It wasn’t until they went on a Singles trip with Calvary to Magic Mountain; where Robert finally got the real opportunity to properly introduce himself to Beverly.

•A couple of weeks later, a couple's date was set up to go out to eat. Unbeknownst to Beverly, the other couple and Robert had arranged where it would be just the two of them, it was history from there.

•They had a short courtship (1 year), they married May 7, 1999, at Calvary Southern Baptist Church.

•Robert and Beverly have five adult daughters and one adult son.  They have 12 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.

•Robert has a Bachelor’s Degree from Wiley University (Marshall, Texas) in Physical Education.

•Beverly has two Associates Degree’s, a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice (UNLV), and a Master’s Degree in Counseling Studies from Capella University.

•They have been devoted to the Marriage and Family Ministry Team since 2015.

•Both were devoted and committed to each other and would always say that they know God had put them together and they would be together until death do them part.

•On January 15, 2018, after 18 years and 8 Months of Marriage, God saw fit to take Robert home to be with Him.

•Beverly truly misses him, and he will always be a bright and shining star in her heart.
